leader camp fun

imagine: five leaders in a car, trying to figure out how they are going to get five random strangers to give them an egg, a 1986 penny, something cut in the shape of a heart, one pea, and something that starts with "D"... among other things. after a sweet long quiet time we did an "AIMazing race" and ran around Gainesville doing a crazy scavenger hunt. and by the way, we didn't get just one pea... we got the whole can. :)

today was the first day of leader training camp. mark will try to post a picture later so you guys can see what's going on. right now picture a totally zonked me sitting in front of a computer while four other leaders in the background are debating how the church can find unity and community today. I just got out of an intense meeting with mark and kathryn... who is so pumped to meet you all, by the way. kathryn and i will be at the airport to meet you all on thursday.

OH! so if you don't want to have to bring your cell phone for one or two lousy phone calls (basically only the hello i'm safe and the hello i'm getting on a plane to come home calls) you can totally give out my number to your parents and you can all count on using either my or kathryn's cell to call home when you get here.

ok, so i'm blinking just to stay awake; I love you all and i'm praying for you ALL the stinking time. and i have a picture of everyone EXCEPT sydney (sorry chica, don't know what happened) so when you get to the airport, don't tell me your name, make me guess. me and kathryn have been working to get you all memorized... :)

ok i'm really going to go now. love ya see you in two stinking days!!!!
